Thanks to our generous donors and our tireless volunteers, IAWF donated 2,000 masks and face shields to healthcare workers fighting on the front lines. We'd like to thank Roya Mashayekh, Josiane Cohanim, Lea Ardalan, and ZaZa Saleh for their work in distributing supplies throughout Los Angeles, and Kayvon Rezaei, Koz Khosravani, Amirali Javadi, and Dr. Nazafarin Mahroo for their efforts in Orange County. We are so grateful to each and every donor who made this project a reality and provided the resources our volunteers needed to support this cause. We'd also like to acknowledge the Shield Our Heroes team for their partnership in this initiative. We remain in awe of the bravery of every essential worker who helps keep the country running during this time.

IAWF Trustee  Neda Nobari's philanthropic organization,  MOZAIK, is looking for artists to share an art piece inspired by times of crisis and social upheaval that can shed light on the current global pandemic and help us imagine alternative futures. They are hosting online art contest, called MOZAIK Future, which is open to all professional and amateur artists. Contest entries can be submitted through May 10th, and the winners will be announced at the end of the month. All mediums are welcome and cash gift cards of $2,000 will be awarded to the top 10 featured artists. Submit your art here.
