Sunday, 06/23/19, 11am Service: "Summer Solstice - A Midsummer Ritual," led by Members of UUFF's Web of Life Pagan Group, with Renée Janski!

10am Sunday Adult Religious Education (ARE):
ARE Discussion Group: Meets downstairs. Topic: "Life Interrupted." Our society has a view that life taken during war is sanctioned, but laws and attitudes vary significantly when it comes to other forms of death such as abortion or mercy related to illness. What are your thoughts? Join us.

 Meditation will be held at 10:00, followed by a short reading and discussion between 10:30 -
10:45. It doesnʼt matter what type of meditation you do, or if you have ever meditated before, you
are welcome to come meditate in the UUFF Annex building (across Storer from UUFF in the west-
nearest Storer-side of the annex). ALL ARE WELCOME. Enter through the front door.

10am RE for kids 5+ continues today! All are invited to meet in room 2 downstairs at 10am for Religious Exploration, before rejoining adults for the 11 o’clock service. I n this session, Eva Ouma will guide us as we focus on the sixth Unitarian Universalist Source, "Spiritual teachings of earth centered traditions which celebrate the sacred circle of life and instruct us to live in harmony with the rhythms of nature," expressed in children's language as "the harmony of nature and the sacred circle of life."

UUFF Announcements, Events, and Opportunities!
A Juneteenth Celebration will be held THIS Saturday, June 22nd, from 4-7pm at The Gardens on the University of Arkansas Campus.

Juneteenth marks the emancipation of slaves; it celebrates African American freedom and achievement. The event is free, including food and music! Come to show solidarity!  The   UUFF Justice Team will have a table at the event.
A sincere thank you to UUFF members and friends who put the UU motto "Side with Love" into action by participating in this year's Pride Parade (all 45 of you)! A special 'thank you' to the banner carriers, wheel monitors and picture takers! Also, much gratitude to Rose Bartlett, Ralph Depee, Maren Chism for their indispensable help in organizing UUFF's participation in this important event. Our wonderful volunteers make all the difference. You all rock!

Temple Shalom is seeking an Administrator

Temple Shalom, Fayetteville’s Jewish Congregation, is seeking an independent, self-starter with excellent communication and organizing skills. The ideal person will also have good keyboard skills, be able to accurately update our membership database, and use other software. The position requires flexibility, starting at 10 hours/week, for $650 per month. Hours and salary may be increased dependent on funding.
