Our country and our communities have been through heartbreaking times in the past weeks. We know that racial injustice and inequality has plagued our society for years and its remedy will not come overnight, however, we as a country must come together to work toward change. This makes what we do, here at United Charitable, even more important. As an organization, we have decided to take action by donating through our corporate charitable giving program to support those who are working toward world change.

United Charitable
Takes Action!
|
Every day we empower people to raise funds and make a difference in the causes they feel passionate about. United Charitable gives people the tools to fight for the change they would like to see in the world around them.
In a unified response to recent events, we, as an organization, have decided to take action. United Charitable participates in a corporate charitable giving program where, on a yearly basis, we select an organization or mission to support through our employee payroll giving program and our organization’s matching gift pledge.

This week, we came together as a team and decided we wanted to do our part in the fight against racism, inequality, and social injustice by choosing to support an organization that goes above and beyond in their works toward these causes, the
National Urban League
.
Their mission is
“
to help African-Americans and others in underserved communities achieve their highest true social parity, economic self- reliance, power, and civil rights. The League promotes economic empowerment through education and job training, housing and community development, workforce development, entrepreneurship, health, and quality of life.

We believe this organization is a powerful catalyst to important change in our society. This is not going to be an easy or quick fight, but we are committed to taking a stand and hope you will join us too. Everyone can make a difference!

Meet Tracy Clark, Program Manager and founder, of
Don't Duck History
,
a fiscally sponsored program bringing seldom highlighted history to the forefront.
The program's mission is
to promote and facilitate the learning and sharing of American history, along with its personal and social implications, and to highlight the history of Americans whose stories are not often presented in traditional American history textbooks.
This week we spoke to Tracy and learned about how her program has been bringing awareness to this issue for quite some time.
