Dear OLG Families,

Welcome back to school (virtually)! Thank you for all the support and structure you're providing your child in continuing their education. Teachers are so pleased to see the progress that students are making. If you or your child is having trouble "turning-in" work or connecting with your teacher, please let me know!

Here are a few "parent homeworks", reminders, and "to-do's" as we start this week:

  • Our School Office is open all this week from 8am to 4pm to meet the needs of getting back to school, packets from (or returned-to) teachers, and technology needs. If you need to make alternate arrangements, please contact the school office.
  • Starting next Monday, we will be open 8am-4pm on Mondays for future packet pickup/drop-offs, or by appointment.
  • Wednesday, April 22nd is Earth Day! Join your classmates, your neighborhood, and our neighboring parishes and schools in celebrating the 50th Anniversary!
  • Re-read our latest school newsletter (April 9th) for reminders on re-registering, tuition and aide, and more.
  • Re-registration fees entered into FACTs are due today for the on-time discount. Registration fees are used to setup next year's classes, purchase textbooks/workbooks, and economically pay for software licenses. This step in the registration process additionally holds your child's spot in their class. If you have financial concerns regarding registration fees, please contact Anton Kramer or Laura Wong.
  • Check-in to teacher webpages and/or emails to get back up to speed. Teachers are actively revising their plans. Specialists continue to update their pages as well for additional opportunities to broaden and enrich.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and catch-up as we return to school. I will send a quick check-in "survey" for families at the end of this week to check on progress, to share feedback to teachers and staff on what is working well for you, and what additional support your family needs.

Our Lady of Guadalupe, pray for us!

Anton Kramer

P.S. The Seattle Archdiocese has a "15 minute census" I encourage all to take the time for: http://catholicsurvey2020.com "All practicing lay Catholics in the Archdiocese are invited to complete an online survey that seeks to better understand the experiences, beliefs, needs, desires and faith trajectories of Catholics across western Washington." And don't forget to complete your US Census if you haven't yet: https://my2020census.gov/
