Beyond the Fence Posts
The Importance & Evolution of Agri Marketing
|
|
TOPIC OVERVIEW
Historically the perception of Agriculture tended to be a rancher in a cowboy hat, a farmer in a plaid shirt and maybe throw in a pick-up truck. But, the business of agriculture is much, much bigger than those stereotypes and is rapidly expanding beyond those expected fence posts. Some of the greatest advances in technology are happening in the agricultural business and the agri-marketing is at the forefront of telling this story.
In this CAMA CMA PARTNER event, join a moderated conversation of Marketing industry experts as we blow open the understanding and VALUE of marketing to and within the world of agricultural.
This webinar will showcase leaders in the agri-marketing industry that are breaking new ground, growing new ideas and ultimately evolving agriculture beyond its stereotypes. Hear their stories and be inspired by an industry that is more than cowboy hats, plaid shirts and pick-up trucks.

- The Definition of Agri-Marketing and how it differs from – or is the same as – Conventional Marketing

MODERATOR
Carolyn Lemoine – President, CAMA Alberta and Account Director at Kenna
Agriculture is more than just something Carolyn is passionate about; it’s a part of her roots. Growing up on a grain farm, she developed an understanding of the hard work, the grit and the rewards of farming. Recognizing early on that her skills in promoting the industry were better than her abilities in operating the combine, she set off on a marketing career that has now spanned over 25 years. From her beginnings in the creative department, to now focusing on strategy and brand development, she is continuously challenged and excited by the evolution in agriculture and can’t wait to see where it goes next.
