End of Year T-Shirts
 
We hope everyone is staying safe and healthy during our time away. It is with heavy hearts to announce that our 24 th Annual End of the Year celebration will not occur. Although we are not able to celebrate the end of the year in our typical fashion, we still wanted the students to have an opportunity to order a fun "End of the Year" keepsake t-shirt! This is a great way to celebrate our unity! Here is a sneak peak!  

Ordering the t-shirts will also be a little different this year. With the governor's "Shelter in Place" order, we are going to have families order DIRECTLY with the vendor to avoid contact with others. The t-shirts will be delivered directly to your home. 

HOW TO ORDER:

The cost is $10.50 plus shipping ($3.95 + $0.25 per shirt)
Example: 1 shirt = $10.50 + $4.20 = $14.70; 2 shirts = 2 x $10.50 plus $4.45 = $25.45. 

ALL ORDERS WILL NEED TO BE PLACED BY FRIDAY, 
MAY 15TH BY 12:00 P.M.

We understand this is not our typical way, but please know that a lot of thought and time went into making these t-shirts "special" during this crazy time.

PTC Executive Board
 
The PTC Executive Board is in the process of slating the available board positions for the 2020-21 school year. The open positions for next year include 1st Vice President, Enrichment VP, Social VP, and Assistant Treasurer. If you are interested in filling one of the open positions, please contact  Dawn Collins by Friday, April 19.  It's a great way to play a meaningful role in shaping your sutdent's experience at Cossitt.

Art Appreciation Resources


If you are looking for new and different ways to continue to appreciate and create art while at home, please check out the Art Appreciation website ( http://www.cossittptc.org/activities/art-appreciation/ ) for some additional ideas.  Feel free to explore and check out a new artist, or recreate a lesson your child has already experienced, but in a new way.  Most lessons are compatible with any grade level, so do not feel as if you have to stick with the lessons for a particular grade level.  Enjoy!

Also, Mrs. O'Brien said that  any art appreciation activities a child completes can be  credited to their one art activity per week expectation. Just send evidence of the activity to her so she can record it.
