SCIS 2019-2020 School Supply Lists:

Lockers:
This year for the first time,  students will have their locker number and combination assigned to them before school and will be permanently listed on the child's powerschool page. When your child's schedule is open to view on Monday, August 12th in powerschool, you will also see their locker information there.

Locker Set Up and Supply Drop off with staff assistance:
We have created a dedicated time that we can assist your child with locker set up and supply drop off .   Friday, August 16th from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 our staff will be here to assist you and your child as move in to their lockers, practice using their combinations, and get any assistance with their locker they may need prior to school starting.

This is purely optional. If you are unable to move in to your locker on this date we have set aside plenty of time to do so during the first week of school during "Camp Leopard".   We will have staff available during this time to help students with lockers. Students are welcome to put supplies in their lockers during walk the creek, but we will be unable to assist your child with locker issues until Friday night from 4:00-6:00 p.m.  We will spend the first week of school helping your child navigate all things SCIS including lockers.

TRAFFIC FLOW MAP FOR PARENT DROP-OFF BEFORE AND PICK-UP AFTER SCHOOL
The safety of our students is very important and has been taken into consideration. Please note the following:
  • Buses will continue to enter and exit to the south of the school.
  • Carpool traffic will enter through the south entrance only. Carpool traffic will exit at north of the school only.
  • For morning drop-off, you'll be directed to drop off your student at doors 10 & 11 or at Courtyard.
  • For afternoon pick-up, students will only exit on the north end of the school to enter your car.
  • Remember:  The use of cell phones is prohibited in a school zone.
Students may only exit the front of the building if they are a bus rider. Parents may not drop off or pick up students in the front of the school during carpool times.
During carpool times, please do not wait in the front parking lot, bus lanes, fire lanes, or double- park behind other vehicles.  For their safety, do not have your student exit the front of the building and walk to your car.
