Our competitive season is off to an excellent start! Keep up the great work! The 2020 WOGA Classic and Valeri Liukin Invitational brought together thousands of competitors this past weekend. Sophia Butler competed in her first international competition as a Senior Elite at the WOGA Classic. She placed 1st on floor and 3rd on bars! XCEL Girls Team and our Level 7, 8, and 9 Girls Team did an incredible job representing Discover Gymnastics and their coaches at the WOGA Classic. Our Level 5 Girls Team rocked the competition at the Louisiana Cup in Shreveport, LA this past weekend. What a great weekend for the Discover Gymnastics Boys Team! This group dominated a lot of the competition with top placements throughout the Valeri Liukin Invitational. So proud of our boys and coaches!

PRESTON, 8yrs Boys Hope Team My favorite gymnastics event is rings because they're fun to swing on, and I get my best scores on rings at the Skills Meets. I like the color green, and my favorite animal is a tiger (just like the LSU tiger). I've got an LSU Joe Burrow shirt I really like. My favorite thing to eat is honey baked ham; I eat it almost every night. When I grow up I want to be a professional dog trainer. ZAINA, 7yrs Rhythmic Gymnastics Level 2 My favorite gymnastics event in class is ribbon because I get to dance with it, and make patterns like "stir the hot cocoa." I love performing all my routines at Mini Olympics! My favorite color is purple, and I like zebras a lot. After practice my favorite dinner is mac'n'cheese! When I grow up I want to be a scientist because my Dad got me a science kit, and we do a lot of experiments together.
