Prayer Meeting Sunday at 6pm

I look at our world and see the worldwide health impact of the coronavirus, the resulting economic collapse, the deaths of George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery, the 911 call of Amy Cooper and in the face of such suffering and injustice I feel powerless. What can I do?

But there is one who is not powerless in the face of these evils. Our God, enthroned in heaven, is all-powerful and possesses all authority. As His children, we have the right to approach Him in prayer.

Sunday we will gather to pray together via Zoom. To remind ourselves that we are not powerless in the face of such suffering and injustice. We have been given the power of prayer. We will gather to pray for the good of our world, our nation, our community, our church, our families, and our very souls. We will gather to remind ourselves of the words of Jesus in John 16:33,

"In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world."

We will send a dedicated email on Sunday afternoon with a link to join the meeting.
