GW Cancer Center Member Y. Tony Yang published a piece in Cancer on the FDA's regulatory shift on consumer tests for cancer risk and the related social and ethical issues associated with such tests.
Last month, the GW Cancer Center hosted Improving Care for Sexual and Gender Minorities: A Symposium for Health Care Professional Students and Faculty . The event highlighted resources for LGBTQ+ health equity.
GW Cancer Center member and SEAS professor Igor Efimov, PhD is set to be inducted into the National Academy of Inventors next spring, a prestigious distinction for leaders in academic innovation.
