Outsiders Tickets Are on Sale



Tickets to The Outsiders are now on sale. Show Dates are May 8th, 9th and 10th. Doors open at 5:00 pm. Show starts at 5:30 p.m.

CCRA Casino Night
 
Please join us at CCRA's Celebration of Center City Living Casino Night to be held on Thursday, May 9 at The Ethical Society on Rittenhouse Square, 6-10pm.
 
The event offers delicious heavy hors d'oeuvres from the best of Center City fooderies,  drinks of every kind, games of chance for large prizes, as well as our Silent Auction, where guests can bid on prizes from local favorite restaurants, items, and art.  We are thrilled to be welcoming Governor Edward G. On Wednesday, April 24th @ 8:30am in the Library, special agent Michelle Arriaga will be joining us to discuss internet safety. While a valuable learning tool, the internet can also serve as a forum for children to become potential victims for internet predators. Agent Arriaga will discuss how to keep our children safe from online predators and the appropriate steps to take if children receive or distribute inappropriate content online. How to Raise a Boy

Dr. Reichert, Founding Director, Center for the Study of Boys' and Girls' Lives at the University of Pennsylvania, will discuss his new book How to Raise a Boy: The Power of Connection to Build Good Men, which is based on decades of research and practical application. The book provides insight and tools to help us better connect with boys and to be aware of the pitfalls of stereotypes so that boys have healthy connections and are on the path to being good men. 


*Books will be on sale after the talk for a discounted price of $20.

Please join the City of Philadelphia Office of Complete Streets at drop-off and pick-up time on April 26th in the playground to hear about the 22nd Street Repaving & Protected Bike Lane Project. City staff will share information about the project and gather feedback. More information HERE.

Join us for the fourth and FINAL Wake Up Wednesday in our Singapore Math series with Drexel faculty math educator/Greenfield parent Dr. Val Klein! For this not-to-miss closer we want you to bring your thorniest, hardest-to-crack math questions. All grade levels welcome. 
Career Day is May 16th!
 
Career  Day is a special  day for parents, relatives and community members to speak to our students about what they do, exposing our children to a few of the many  career choices open to them. All students, Kindergarten through Grade 8, will participate!
 
We NEED  career presenters! Schedules are flexible - stay for just one class presentation, the entire morning, or any time in between. To volunteer, please email Kristin McKenna
GLAM's (Greenfield Ladies and Moms) Night Out
