Community College Cyber Summit (3CS) Postponed
Due to continuing and even increasing COVID-19 concerns, both in Ohio and across the nation, it has become necessary to postpone the 2021 Community College Cyber Summit (3CS). Sinclair Community College is graciously offering to host the Summit in 2022. Finalized 2022 3CS dates will be be released in the coming weeks. Registrants who have already paid will receive a full refund.

Call for Abstracts on Diversifying the Cybersecurity Workforce
Are you interested in serving the cybersecurity profession? Practitioners, scholars and educators... Do you have experiences, data, cases, or instructional designs that suggest how our nation can succeed in diversifying the cybersecurity workforce? Submit a paper proposal or draft abstract to the Cybersecurity Skills Journal: Diversifying the Cybersecurity Workforce. This publication will report systematic and rigorous investigations of the contributing causes, mediating or moderating influences, and solutions for diversifying the cybersecurity workforce.

Hack the Box Competition
Are your students looking to put their skills to the test against a real-world system? Think they can guide their way through a cyber kill chain and exploitation? The National Cybersecurity Student Association's Hack the Box competition will have students take a crack at a public facing web application and help Company X pen test it! Some high-level security has been added for students to try and gain access! As a bonus, there will be opportunities for TCP/IP stack tests, telephone attacks, and SQL injection.
