A Message from Ken Yancey

To the SCORE Volunteers:

April is National Volunteer Month. I would like to thank and honor all of the hard work and time you as SCORE volunteers have put into serving our clients and contributing to making SCORE a great place to volunteer. We have some of the most dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers here at SCORE. You are crucial to us achieving our mission. We know we couldn't exist without you and are thankful every day for your efforts.

Thank you for all that you do.

@scorevolunteer Emails
Please request your @scorevolunteer.org email address now. To request your email, please contact help@score.org. Please note that your chapter may also be looking to migrate all volunteers at the same time.

Because the SCORE email address will be the login for SCORE Engage, our new technology system, every volunteer should get their SCORE email address before September 30, 2019.

The SCORE Website, help.score.org, has multiple articles and videos to assist you in the use of your @scorevoluneer.org email. there will be even more training on the use of this email coming in the near future.
SCORE Awards
We have received several inquiries about the American Small Business Championship and the SCORE Awards. This year, neither event will be taking place. We are actively pursuing partners to fund ASBC, and are exploring new ways to enhance the impact and reach of the SCORE Awards. Stay tuned for more information.
Diversity and Inclusion
Is your chapter having continuing conversations about Diversity and Inclusion? You should be talking  about this at each monthly chapter meeting and sharing some resources.

Here are 3 things you could discuss :
1. Take a look: Go to Volunteer Center, click on "Leadership Resources". Click on National Leadership Conference Jacksonville, 2018

2. 7/30/19: SCORE's Culture of Diversity and Inclusion AND Highlighting Women Event

3. 8/1/19: Proven Strategies for Attracting and Maintaining a Diverse Volunteer Base

Any volunteer can see these resources and they make good conversation starters. How is your chapter doing?
