Unplug. Unwind. Step out in the Sunshine.
In an effort to promote "Healthy work environments that nourish the mind, body, and spirit (from SCRLC's Plan of Service 2011-2016)" and in the spirit of last years' successful Healthy Libraries, Healthy Communities grant (check out any
Wellness Webinars you missed), I would like to share something every Friday that addresses work/life integration.
For starters, think of the last time you were bored. Was it before you had a smartphone? Take a look at Bored and Brilliant: the lost art of spacing out. There are a series of podcasts and challenges to help us detach from our phones and think more creatively and there's even an app for that. Online Book Discussion Wednesday, March 11, 12:00 - 1:00pm
This month's book is Emotional Intelligence 2.0 by Travis Bradberry and Jean Greaves.
