Shavuot & Tikun Leil Program

We continue to slowly - but steadily - return to populate our physical building with more activities.  As noted before, our plan is to begin with activities that lend themselves to limited number of participants, building up eventually to programs -- like Shabbat morning tephilla - - that have larger numbers.

Towards that end, we will hold three programs over Shavuot and the Shabbat:

1) Beginning at midnight (12 AM) on Thursday night (Leil Shavuot) we will host our annual tikun leil all night learning (details below).  Unlike previous years, this program will take place in the shul and not the Pear home.

2) At the conclusion of the tikun leil, we will host a vatikin minyan.  Megilat Ruth will be read at 4:15 AM, with Shacharit at 4:50 AM.

3) Given the likelihood that Shabbat morning tephilla will attract more people than we can accommodate and still maintain our strict adherence to social distancing guidelines, we will begin our return on Shabbat with a new addition to our previously scheduled Shabbat program -- Mincha and Maariv on Shabbat afternoon (in the future, when it is permitted, the time in between these tephillot will be a seudat shlishit; for now, it will be a shiur).

Please help us successfully launch this new (for us) Shabbat feature:

Mincha Shabbat Afternoon: 7:20 PM
Shiur by Rabbi Pear on Sefer Shmuel: 7:40 PM
Shabbat Ends 8:20 PM

As with all our tephillot, proper social distancing will be practiced and masks will be required.
TIKUN LEIL SCHEDULE

Our all-night learning program will take place this year at our new building located at Yakov Rubin Street #1.  Seats will be properly distanced and masks are required to be worn at all times inside the building.  Refreshments - served via waitstaff - will be provided during the course of the night.
Nurse Rachel Gemara

Reservations may be made for any particular class - or all the classes - by e-mailing [email protected].  For those who do not reserve, seating will be on a first come, first served basis; once all s eats are full, we will no longer permit entrance for that particular class.
