A Reflection from our Youth

Covid-19 has been sweeping the nation and other countries. It is hard not being able to go out but being able to spend time with my family has been great. Our house has been full of noise, both good and bad, but we have been sharing more time and interaction together. We used to be pulled in all different directions because of sports and school. Some days we would make six trips to our high school because all of us were doing different things at different times. Now there is nothing on our schedule. No sports, no theater, and very little school.

In the first week of the pandemic me and my sisters got so bored and did a photo shoot. The products were pretty good, if I do say so myself. I have been searching for a hobby because my eyes are burning at the end of the day after binging on Netflix because I had nothing better to do. I found that hobby in art. I enjoy doing paintings and other forms of art. It lets me express the beauty of my surroundings and it is a good way to pass time.

I never expected that I could be living through a moment in history that you would read about in a textbook, but I am. And I look to a better future because it might be bad right now, but it will get better. And I hope that everyone is healthy and well.
