COVID 19: Resources for Afterschool
We are facing an unprecedented time in the out-of-school time field. Some programs have had to close while others are drastically changing their services to meet changing needs. The ND Afterschool Network wants to make sure that program staff, youth, and families feel supported during this time of constant change and uncertainty. The resources below may help you, your organization and your work.

Afterschool Alliance has developed a resource hub for out-of-school time programs with FAQs, policy updates & regulations, ways to support staff, remote learning opportunities, and financial support for afterschool programs.

Propel Nonprofits is providing no-cost technical assistance to nonprofits in the Upper Midwest. Find information from Propel on the Small Business Administration's Payroll Protection Program, Financial management & planning resources, along with additional financing options for nonprofits.

Stay up-to-date with COVID-19 information throughout North Dakota. The state page includes links to information for businesses, health and safety regulations, unemployment, workforce safety, and much more.

Network Expands Use of Online Learning Courses

Due to the shift in the way afterschool programs are operating during the COVID crisis, the Network is increasing access to the online learning platform CypherWorx at no cost to out-of-school time programs across ND.

We know that many programs are not currently serving students and using this time for staff professional development. Through CypherWorx, hundreds of courses are available, including a 54-course series of online training designed specifically for afterschool professionals.  Program managers are able to assign courses to staff, keep track of training records, and design courses specific to their programs.

For more information and to access the platform,   contact Kristin Knorr.
