We dedicate our Yizkor service to the memory of family members and loved ones who have died, and we provide some time to share our memories amidst the music, prayers, and the company of our own community. Remembering the Holocaust: Stories from Across Generations
Monday, April 29 at 7:00 p.m. No cost.
Yom HaShoah (Holocaust Remembrance Day) 5779 marks 74 years since the end of World War II. This year we have invited Holocaust survivor Lilly Salcman, who will be interviewed by our members, her daughter Suzanne Salamon and her granddaughter Alexandra Einhorn Smith at our Yom HaShoah service. Join us for The Tent's Open House for prospective families. The Tent is a community school, where teens gather on Monday nights for dinner and electives taught by exceptional staff and clergy in student-selected topics. It is open to all 8-12th graders at Temple Israel, other partner synagogues, and independent families.  Both parents and kids are encouraged to attend. RSVP.

Certified Nurse-Midwife, Sarah Kleinman, will cover the birthing process and guide you through birthing practice, while Rabbi Suzie Jacobson and Rabbi Matt Soffer will discuss Jewish rituals around birthing, including naming ceremonies and the bris.
