Join us for our annual family Advent Festival! Come share the joy of the season with other church families and friends when we create holiday crafts and talk at the table. Onward House Gift Appeal
Begins Sun., Nov. 24th
Onward House, located in Chicago, has given us this year's list of names and wishes of 200 children that need our help. It's SO simple:
beginning Sunday, November 24th, grab a name from the table, in the Atrium pick up or order a toy or clothes from the child's list. Box, wrap, bring to church by Sunday, December 15. Done. Happy child, Merry Christmas. Come hear this week's "Mission Moment" in worship with Mario and Nikki from Onward House at 9 and 10:30.

Order Poinsettias
Order your poinsettias to adorn the sanctuary for Christmas. Poinsettias may be offered in celebration or memory of a loved one or dedicated to someone special. Order forms may be found in the Main Lobby. Cost is $16.50 per plant, available in red, pink or white; orders must be received by Monday, December 9.

Glen Ellyn Food Pantry Thanksgiving Appeal
T
he Glen Ellyn Food Pantry will once again collect donations so that Thanksgiving meals are available to hungry neighbors. Consider helping the Pantry help our neighbors experiencing food insecurity. Any amount will help. Pantry clients will be able to select items they will enjoy for their holiday meal. Donation envelopes are in the Main Lobby or online donations are accepted here. Read more.

Perhaps a job loss, death of a loved one, illness or simply feeling like Christmas is not happening the way the world tells you it should. Angel Choir
Choir for 4-7 year Olds
Do you have a compact chorister, a mini minstrel, a diminutive diva in your house? Well we have the choir for you! Our Angel Choir is designed for little ones and busy parents. We perform 2 times a year and with only 2, 30 minute rehearsals beforehand. Fun. Short and sweet. Completely adorable.

One Voice Choir Concert
Sunday, December 8, 4 pm
Treat yourself to a special musical event when the wonderful singers of One Voice Outreach Choir present their Winter Concert at FCCGE. One Voice Choir's mission is to bring their gifts of song and friendship to the residents of local retirement centers and nursing homes. No tickets are necessary; a freewill offering to support this non-profit organization in its outreach mission. Any questions, contact Vicki Steevensz, Director.

Big Thanks for Heifer Donations
Heifer Market, held at FCCGE last Sunday, earned over $2200.00 to donate to Heifer International which equals: 1 heifer, 1 water buffalo, 2 pigs, 2 goats, 1 sheep, 2 trios of rabbits, 4 flocks of chicks, 3 hives of bees, 2 alpacas/llamas, 1 water buffalo, and 3 schools of fish. Thank you to all the generous people that donated time and money.
