Grade 8 Entrepreneurship Class
As a counterpoint to their busy academic and extracurricular lives, Peabody's 8th graders are also flexing their entrepreneurial muscles. Last week, as part of their yearlong entrepreneurship class, students participated in a product pitch session in front of a panel of special guests. The teams introduced their products (all of which have been designed to provide an uncommon solution to a common problem), shared their business models, answered questions, and received actionable feedback from panel members. The teams must now make decisions about potential product revisions before creating inventory that will be available for purchase at the first ever Peabody Pop-up Marketplace later this spring. Please stay tuned to learn more about the teams, their clever products, and opportunities to purchase them for yourself. Thank you to guest panelists Allison Teweles, Marci Ledlow, Rachel Lloyd Miller, Matt Bednar, and Brett Jones for sharing your time and insight with the group!

Enjoying High School with an Eye on College
For the graduating Peabody 8th grader, the next four years present the opportunity to lay a significant foundation for success in college. But the college admissions process can feel daunting and impenetrable. A global approach to the high school years can lead to enhanced admissions prospects for students—and peace of mind for them and their parents—as they prepare for college. Please join us for a night with Clayborne Education, including founder and former Peabody parent Clay Daniel, who will present wise and forward-looking approaches to the high school years, the college years, and beyond. This session will be held April 10th starting at 6:30PM.
