To help catalyze, facilitate, and accelerate translational research at BU
and BMC, the CTSI has created the Research Navigator Team (RNT).
The RNT will effectively connect the research community to existing,
and expanding, CTSI resources. This includes professional development opportunities to services to facilitate research planning (e.g., recruitment planning, assistance with IRB applications, consultation on conducting research with children or older individuals) and implementation (e.g., study implementation services provided by the General and Clinical Research Unit (GCRU)). Basically, the RNT offers “one-stop shopping” to research teams as a conduit between researchers who have questions and/or need services, and those who can answer their questions or provide those services, to conduct translational studies.
