Family COVID Update
4.10.2020
Dear Residents & Families,

As part of our ongoing effort to keep everyone in the Bainbridge Senior Living community informed about our response to COVID-19 we are going to increase the frequency of these updates to, Monday, Wednesday and Friday moving forward. We appreciate your continued support in helping us keep your loved ones safe.

COVID-19 TESTING
As of today, we have no positive or suspected cases of COVID-19 in our Bainbridge Senior Living communities.

Our staff is continuing to implement best practices for cleaning and sanitizing our communities. We are actively monitoring illnesses and consulting with the department of health if we observe individuals with symptoms or circumstances that seem to match those related to COVID-19.

STAFF
For both Jewish and Christian traditions, this is an important time. We want to thank our amazing staff for going above and beyond to make this season special at a time when family and community are so important.

COMMUNITY UPDATE
We were deeply saddened this morning (Friday, April 10 th ), to learn of the death of a beloved City of Bainbridge Island employee, Officer Kurt Enget, a five-year veteran of the Bainbridge Island Police Department.

At this time, we do not have information about the official cause of death. We know that Officer Enget was being treated at Harrison Medical Center for COVID-like symptoms.

Our hearts and thanks go out to all the first responders on Bainbridge and beyond, who continually place their lives at risk to protect the most vulnerable. If you’d like to offer support, a fund has been established by the Bainbridge Island Police Guild to help Enget’s family.

With Gratitude,

Morgan Rohrbach
President and CEO
