In this global pandemic, the COVID-19 virus is making victims of us all. To get through this historic crisis, we all need to come together to meet the moment. Now more than ever, we see that elections have consequences. There are far too few legislators in Sacramento that understand and appreciate agriculture. Consequently, it is getting increasingly difficult to fight policies that are harmful to growers and the wine industry in general.
The November ballot will include 80 Assembly seats, 20 Senate seats and a dozen ballot measures. CAWG works hard to identify candidates that will consider the realities of our industry and how legislation affects winegrape growers, the wine industry and our workforce. Through CAWG PAC we strive to elect a more balanced group of lawmakers.
