The Community will Gather and Praise!

“Write it so the story can be told in Zion, so God’s praise will be sung in the streets, and wherever the peoples are gathered together, along with the kingdoms, to worship God.” Psalm 102:21-22

On the first Sunday after Labor Day our community will gather, as is typical, to celebrate being a part of God’s family!  After school begins for most students and educators, and as summer winds down, we will gather to worship and to feast on Sunday, September 12th.

We’ll celebrate with worship at 8 am and at 10:30 am, as well as with the service of Evensong at 5 pm. After both morning services, we invite you to join the feast with individual picnic boxes of foods, enjoying the beautiful lawn and surroundings just outside of the nave. Come join in – reconnect with friends you haven’t seen for awhile and meet new friends. This is our community, knit together as followers of the way of Jesus!  For those who are not able to join in person, we will be praying for you and along with you if you are watching via livestream, and hope to see you in person in the future. For the well-being of everyone present, please note that masks continue to be required for all worship services and when inside the building of Saint Mark’s.

This Sunday is only the beginning of the offerings we have planned for this year to connect our community. While the offerings are mainly for virtual gatherings outside of Worship, we can easily change it up when the time is right and join together in person.  Take a look at this weekly schedule of ways to gather as a community, both virtually and in person.

The schedule of offerings for all ages include occasions to pray, to study and to serve, developing these regular practices that help ground us in our lives, as followers of Jesus.  It is our hope that you will stretch and grow in one, two or all three practices this year, and mature in your relationship with Christ.  Allow our community to support you in your personal growth, discover and share with us your favorite spiritual practices, and let’s grow together as disciples following the way of Jesus.

With God’s peace and blessings,
