Mayfield SWAT train at Cornerstone houses

It was a pleasure to make our church houses available to the Mayfield SWAT and SPAN teams for first-responder training.

We were happy to also bless them with a delicious homemade lunch prepared by several of our members. Thank you ladies!

May the Lord keep our police and fire teams safe as they protect our community.
Pray for one another

One of the ways we love and care for one another is to pray for each other's needs. If you're a member at Cornerstone, we invite you to sign up to receive prayer need emails for your fellow members.
God hears. God answers.

Our Mission

Our mission as a church is very simple and it comes directly from Jesus. Jesus gave the Church her mission in the "Great Commission" in Matthew 28:19-20. It defines why we exist as a church:

To glorify God by making disciples of Jesus Christ

Worth pondering

"God could quite justly have abandoned us to our fate. He could have left us alone to reap the fruit of our wrongdoing and to perish in our sins. It is what we deserved. But he did not. Because he loved us, he came after us in Christ. He pursued us even to the desolate anguish of the cross, where he bore our sins, guilt, judgement and death. It takes a hard and stony heart to remain unmoved by love like that. "

Scripture Memory Program

Our memory verse for 4/14 - 4/20

Review 1 Peter 3:3-6 and memorize:

"so that the tested genuineness of your faith -- more precious than gold, though that perishes though it is tested by fire -- may be found to result in praise and glory and honor at the revelation of Jesus Christ."
1 Peter 3:7
