Apprenticeship Presentation


Please join representatives from Apprenticeship Minnesota at the Minnesota Department of Labor and Industry to learn about registered apprenticeship and the benefits of growing and sustaining an innovative workforce. As a strategy to meet your need for skilled workers while increasing engagement and retention, registered apprenticeship offers a time-tested employee training system that can be customized to meet the needs of any business. In addition to a presentation on Registered Apprenticeship, Ed Godfrey from the Minnesota Department of Veterans Affairs will join us in sharing the options and benefits available for veterans through the MN GI Bill.  There is no cost to attend

In this session, DeeDee LeMier of Charities Review Council will share insight from grantmakers to help you submit stronger grant applications, build confidence in understanding and articulating existing organizational diversity, and identify tools for setting goals that reflect the individuals and community you serve.

As usual, we will also have time after the presentation to share what is happening with your non-profit.

Chamber E-Connection Guidelines and Policies

Newsletter Goals and Audience
The purpose of the Chamber E-Connection newsletter is to share our members' events with  other business and community members. It is an informational newsletter and helps to promote  our member businesses and their events.
Each Friday, our newsletter is sent to over 1,500 individuals. Our separate emails are sent to  the same list, but are held especially for our Chamber events and Business After Hours.

Newsletter Policy
E-Connection events are included based on requests from the member business. The following criteria are requested by the Marshall Area Chamber for event submissions:
  • Events flyers or submissions must be an actual event. We do not include sales or promotions.
  • Events can be included in the E-Connection for one week free of charge,
    and you have the option of adding one additional week for $10. 
  • Submissions must be sent the Wednesday prior to that Friday's
    E-Connection to be included to chamber@marshallmn.org

  • All event flyers are for Marshall Area Chamber of Commerce members only. 
Any Chamber member businesses events can be submitted to
the Chamber website as well here. Click submit new event.
