Well, March was a long year, but we made it.
In all seriousness, I hope you and your loved ones are staying safe and healthy. I’d ask you stay sane as well, but I recognize many of you may have all of a sudden found yourself as stay at home parents and/or teachers, so sanity is probably not a reasonable request. But rest assured this too shall pass, and I am optimistic that we will emerge stronger and more resilient than before.
We continue to make the safety of our members and supporters our top priority. Like most organizations in the region, WTS Greater Dallas/Fort Worth has suspended all our activities through May. Unfortunately, this includes our Annual Awards and Scholarship Banquet, originally scheduled for April 23. We are tentatively rescheduled for June 5 but will continue to monitor the current public health crisis and adjust accordingly.
Keep an eye on your email as we provide continuing updates as the situation evolves. In the meantime, stay safe, stay healthy, try to stay sane, maybe pick up a new hobby, and as always, thank you for everything you do to support women in transportation.
Sincerely,
