Image: Leah Dorian, Interdisciplinary Metis Artist
Do you want to be part of an important journey and explore your experiences as an Indigenous woman? We invite you to come share your thoughts and ideas as we begin learning and working together in spirit of reconciliation.

In Our Tea and Bannock Conversations, hosted by Women's Centre Reconciliation Coordinator Jacie Alook, we will explore what reconciliation means to each of us in order to build a stronger Women's Centre community. These events are part of a series of Tea and Bannock Conversations, and are for women accessing the Women's Centre who identify as Indigenous, First Nations, Inuit, Metis, status, and non-status Treaty Indians.

The purpose of these conversations is to gather and create a safe space for sharing our perspectives, concerns, and gifts in order to develop a greater understanding of reconciliation.

Our first conversation will take place on September 10 from 1- 3 pm. For more details, or to RSVP please visit our  website
