ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT CAPITAL PROJECTS AND HOUSING JOINT REVIEW COMMITTEE
The next extension of the Penny for Pinellas local option sales tax takes effect on January 1, 2020. The interlocal agreement between Pinellas County and the municipalities designates 8.3% of the net proceeds collected each year for economic development capital projects, including land acquisition in support of residential housing. THANK YOU FRIENDS!
Largo Parks Division would like to thank the Friends of Nature Parks for their generous donation of a $20,000 van to the City of Largo. The van will be used to transport volunteers and birds of prey to various educational programs which they put on throughout the area. The partnership between Parks and the Friends of Nature Parks is strong, and this van is a great example of the mutual benefit that working together provides.
