So many have asked if any in our community are in need of help. While we are happy to report that those within our immediate Zion circle are maintaining the status quo, we know that is not so in the wider community.
HOPE South Florida, one of our local ministry partners, focuses its efforts on families and veterans who are experiencing homelessness.
Because of COVID-19, HOPE South Florida has had to cancel four fundraising events (at a projected loss of almost $175,000) and has seen an increase in those attending shared meals and needing mobile showers.
Their shared meal attendance has gone from 175 to over 300 daily, including a specific increase in families with children.
During the Easter season, in addition to your regular offering, we are asking that you prayerfully consider an additional gift to the essential ministry that HOPE South Florida is providing on our behalf.
You can give online through our giving website (click the "Give Online" button above and choose the fund named "HOPE South Florida"). We will ensure that all funds donated go to the shared meal program that HOPE South Florida hosts every day in Broward County. Thank you for supporting this meaningful partnership!
