"We should glory in the Cross of our Lord Jesus Christ!"  GALATIANS 6:14

Join Us for Holy Week & Easter Triduum
Dear Friends in Christ Our Hope,
What a strange and challenging Lenten journey it's been this year. Our time of isolation and social distancing has drawn some closer to God. I pray that is where you find yourself this Holy Week. But even if you're not experiencing this grace, I want to encourage you to step deeper into the reality of life, death and resurrection of Jesus in the coming days via our Zoom morning prayers and Facebook LIVE liturgies.

Join our virtual, shared parish community of Christ Our Hope and St. Patrick for Triduum. Below are details of ways to grow closer to Christ and allow him to help you find peace and consolation in this time of global turmoil.

Peace,

This is final part of our three-part Triduum celebration. Please prepare a candle with matches; bells or keys; and a bowl of water at home with you.

This Mass is the highlight of the Church's year. We share the Easter fire with one another and listen to the sing of the Easter Proclamation (the Exsultet). We hear three readings from the Old Testament and two from the New Testament which speak to baptism and new life. After a 40-day Lenten absence, we sing Alleluia and the Gloria again. We bless water and we renew our own baptismal promises, before we are sprinkled with water. Finally, we share our Easter Eucharist.

Easter Sunday:
Sunday April 12

8:30 AM Mass,  5:00 PM Mass (espaƱol) &  7:00 PM Mass

The Triduum concludes with the Easter Sunday celebration of the Eucharist! Prepare a bowl of water at home ahead of time.
We continue this
50-day celebration for
the next seven weeks
of the Easter Season, concluding with Pentecost on                    Sunday, May 31!

Pay attention, therefore, to the sacred three days of the Crucified, Buried and Resurrected One.
Of these three the Cross is the one whose meaning we realize in the present life,
while the Burial and the Resurrection signify
something we believe and hope for.
