In observance of Good Friday and Easter, the building will be closed on Friday, Apr. 19 and Monday, Apr. 22. Most offices will be open from 8 a.m. - 3 p.m. from Tuesday, Apr. 23 through Friday, Apr. 26. Classes will resume at 8 a.m. on Monday, Apr. 29.

2019-2020 School Year Calendar
The 2019-2020 school calendar can be found on the Office of Student Services section of the CJ website . As always, this calendar is subject to change per administration.

Class of 2020 Senior Pictures
It's not too early to start thinking of graduation for the Class of 2020! All members of the senior class are required to have a composite photo taken for the yearbook as well as the senior composite of their class. Seniors have the option to have their senior photos taken by whomever they choose, but the senior composite photos must be completed by Easterling to be included in the senior composite and yearbook. Language Placement Test -  Class of 2023
Saturday, May 11 | 9 a.m. | Room 339
All incoming CJ students wishing to begin their world language study in Level 2 must take the Language Placement test on Saturday, May 11 at 9 a.m. Please enter through the courtyard door and follow the signs to Room 339 on the third floor. Students need to bring two writing utensils. Service Awards Assembly
Wednesday, May 1
Students who have volunteered 25 or more hours in the past year over and above their religion service requirements will be honored at the Service Awards Assembly. Awards are:

  • CJ Bronze Service Award: 25-49 total volunteer hours
  • CJ Silver Service Award: 50-99 total volunteer hours
  • CJ Gold Service Award: 100+ total volunteer hours

A Cappella Auditions
Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22 | 6-8 p.m. | Room 103
All students interested in participating in a CJ a cappella group during the 2019-2020 school year will need to audition. This includes current students and any incoming freshmen. The auditions will be held on Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22. Audition information, including audio tracks, can be found on the  CJ website .

Athletic Accomplishments:
Congratulations to the following teams:
  • Softball: congratulations to Carly Fugett '19 for throwing her second perfect game of the season during the Eagles' game against the Patriots on Wednesday, Apr. 17. The Eagles won that game 20-0.
  • Track & Field: at the Springfield High School track meet, the Eagles' men's and women's 4x200 relay placed first; Meyah Haywood '20 and Imani Wortham '20 finished first and second, respectively, in the 100 meter dash; and Calvin Hatcher '20 finished first in the 100 and 200 meter dashes.

Class of 2019 College Decisions - Important Reminders
Seniors who have made their final college decision should notify the college and complete all of the required steps on or before Wednesday, May 1. It is also important for students to notify all colleges that they applied to but will not attend. Many students are placed on wait-lists and would love to hear from a college that a spot has opened up!

Class of 2019 - "What's Next" Day
Friday, May 3
On Friday, May 3, seniors are encouraged to show off "What's Next" for them after CJ. The seniors are encouraged to wear a shirt showing off their future plans — whether that's college, military, the work force, etc... Students must still wear uniform pants. Seniors will receive their Senior Survey before Friday, May 3 and must complete the survey to receive a special treat!

Class of 2019 Senior Picnic - VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY

Volunteers are needed to make the Class of 2019 Senior Picnic a success! The picnic is Thursday, May 16 from 1-3 p.m. at Delco Park in Kettering. Miami University
Current freshmen, sophomores and juniors who have a 3.0 GPA or higher and are interested in studying business are invited to apply for a free summer camp at Miami University. Women's Volleyball Spring Conditioning
Tuesdays and Thursdays | 5-6:30 p.m. | SCC
Women's Volleyball spring conditioning sessions are every Tuesday and Thursday from 5-6:30 p.m. in the SCC. If you are coming to conditioning, please arrive at least 15 minutes early so we can start warming up on time.
