This Week at the Levitt Pavilion
June 20-23
Superheroes, rising stars and a Tejano legend

Thursday:  Family Movie Night features the 2018 Academy Award winner for Best Animated Feature, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, at 8 p.m. Miles Morales is a New York teen struggling with school, friends and, on top of that, being the new Spider-Man. When he comes across Peter Parker, the erstwhile savior of New York, in the multiverse, Miles must train to become the new protector of his city, crossing his path with five counterparts from other dimensions to stop a threat for all realities. The movie is rated PG.
The first 100 guests will receive gift cards from Family Movie Night sponsor, Arlington Highlands.

Friday: Rising stars,
The Black Lillies have become one of Americana music's biggest success stories as an internationally-renowned band of roots-rockers that blend rock and country. They perform at 8 p.m. presented by Affiliated Bank. Their sound is built on undeniable chemistry, lush three-part harmonies and instrumental virtuosity with a funky edge. Their newest album,
Stranger to Me, was an immediate critical and fan success when it was released last year, debuting at number five on
Billboard's Folk/Americana chart, nine on Billboard's Current Country chart, and 61 on Billboard's Top 200 Albums chart.

Saturday:  Levitt Pavilion Arlington is proud to partner with 12-time Grammy Award-winning gospel artist, Kirk Franklin, for his first-ever summer music camp for teens, Camp Lotus. Aspiring artists from Camp Lotus will have their end-of-camp showcase backed by Kirk Franklin's band at 8 p.m. Camp Lotus is a one-week music camp that gives aspiring young musicians an opportunity to maximize their potential and helps them prepare for a career in the music industry. Students are taught by respected names in the industry, including Kirk Franklin, all hosted out of Franklin's state-of-the-art recording studio near the Levitt on Main Street in Downtown Arlington.

Sunday:  Texas native Ruben Ramos sits at the helm of a family musical legacy born more than 80 years ago, rooted in traditional Mexican artistry, infused with the big-band sound of the 1940s, influenced by blues and rock, and now at the pinnacle of Tejano music. Ruben and his band, the Mexican Revolution, with the hottest horns in Texas, perform at 8 p.m. presented by the MEI Group. They are members of the Tejano Music Hall of Fame and have a Grammy Award for Best Mexican American Performance as part of Los Super Seven.

If we have to cancel, we will post it on our website, on the 24-hour information line, and on our Facebook and Twitter.
