Philmont Cooperative
Cheers go out to our collaborating partners Elizabeth and the Co-op's farmers and producers for making sure local foods are available for phone in orders and pick ups!

Mellenville-Philmont Food Pantry
The pantry is open every Tuesday, from 10:30 to 11:30 and from 5:30 to 6:30. There is a table outside with food along with the "free cooler." If you have an emergency you can reach out to Karen via the pantry's FaceBook page.

Taconic School District
If you've been wondering about the school buses seen in Philmont and around, that's the Taconic Hills School team delivering daily meals to families with kids.

Online cooking with your kids
The Sylvia Center, educator-in-residence at the Co-op, know that nothing brings family together like preparing and sharing meals together. Check out their virtual kitchen for pantry-staple recipes and cooking demos for families with kids of all ages.

FREE Internet Access to qualifying homes with students or teachers or seniors. Call 1-844-579-3743 to enroll.


Business Continuity Fund
The Columbia County Business Continuity Fund provides cash grants to Columbia County small businesses that have been severely impacted by COVID-19 measures and need assistance to retain and pay their employees, stay current on rent, and cover other fixed costs related to their operations. 
The fund was created by the Berkshire Taconic Community Foundation (BTCF) and Columbia Economic Development Corporation (CEDC), in partnership with Berkshire Taconic's Fund for Columbia County, the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce and Hudson Business Coalition.

SBA to Provide Disaster Assistance Loans for Small Businesses Impacted by Coronavirus (COVID-19)
in response to the COVID-19 crisis.

Columbia Economic Development Corp
CEDC’s Revolving Loan Fund and SBA Microloan Program may be able help local businesses.

A County Volunteer Team as an independent network that could be available for such things as bringing groceries, needed items, and general help is being discussed by a group of residents in Philmont, the Hawthorne community, and with neighboring communities. As this comes into focus we'll share the information with you.
