301 Faith Partners Announcements
Celebrate with the 301 Faith Partner Shared Worship Service!

The time has come again for our 3 congregations to worship together, and it happens to be on Oct 31st at 10:30 am.

Unfortunately we cannot have worship in person, due to the sanctuary Covid capacity, but the service will be Livestream from the sanctuary into your homes! Musicians, choir, readers, preachers, presiders will be present in person to lead worship for the 301 Faith Partner community.

Please join via this Zoom link –Passcode is 419433 (Different link than our regular Sunday Mass.)

Additionally,
we will have a shared Adult Forum starting at 9 am, and you all are invited to join the conversation. The link (different from worship) is here.
You are invited to attend an online faith-based ZOOM-WATCH PARTY of Fort Collins Habitat for Humanity’s 'We Build Breakfast'

But be aware:
attend only if you want to be inspired to put your faith into action!

The 'We Build Breakfast' features Habitat’s overall efforts to enhance lives by building self-reliance and stability through decent, safe, affordable housing. We’ll hear stories of partner families being empowered through education, hard work, and their own resilience.

But this invitation-only WATCH PARTY is just for the faith community, with an opportunity to contribute to - and have all donations doubled for - the Thrivent Faith Build for Karen, whose home is being sponsored by many local faith communities, including our own 301 Faith Partners.
The breakfast is Wednesday, October 20th via ZOOM so you can brew up a cup of coffee and join in pajamas if you like. The program will begin promptly at 8:00 AM and will conclude by 8:30 AM.

There is no cost to attend and all costs for the event are underwritten, so 100% of contributions made from WATCH PARTY attendees will go to “bricks and sticks” AND be matched by Thrivent Financial.

Please RSVP to Gray Currier <gray.currier@gmail.com> and copy Sarah Lindsey SLindsey@FortCollinsHabitat.org to receive the Zoom invitation link, and then be prepared to join a community of other generous friends making a lasting change in Fort Collins.

Newcomer Migrant Youth Winter Gear Drive October 10-17, 2021

Drive for 60 New Immigrant Students at Poudre & Fort Collins High Schools & Lincoln Middle School

Our 301 Faith Partners are invited to “accompany” immigrant youth in Poudre School District’s Newcomer Program by donating items in the list below. The program is designed for immigrant and refugee youth who have recently arrived in Fort Collins and are attending Poudre High, Fort Collins High and Lincoln Middle School.

As we move into the winter months, we have been asked to help these newcomer youth and unaccompanied minors with teen clothing and gear. We are accompanied in this project by other faith community members of ISAAC, Dreamers United of CSU, Homeward Alliance and the family liaisons of PSD.
Events for the Newcomer Students will be held at their own schools Oct 20 & 21

HOW CAN YOU HELP?
We will be taking donations of these items:
  • new or gently used winter coats for teens (sizes S-L)
  • new winter hats, gloves and socks
  • hygiene items including these:
  • --> Full size shampoo
  • --> Full size body wash and lotion
  • --> New razors, combs and brush
  • --> Deodorant
  • --> Chapstick/lip balm
  • --> Toothpaste and brushes
  • --> Sanitary napkins

If you cannot donate material items but would still like to contribute, you can donate towards our $50 gift cards, directly on ISSACS website at  https://isaacnoco.org/donate-2

 WHERE: Drop off items at the table in the 301 Fellowship Hall – (Look for the sign “Winter Gear Drive”). Our 301 Immigration Task Force members will deliver your donations to the donation sites.

THANKS to all of 301 Faith Partners for supporting this drive for these community newcomers!
Regional News
In Gratitude
Dear Members of the Rocky Mountain Region ECC,

Thank you so much for your heartfelt affirmation and support of my ordination and consecration as your bishop. The invitation process, care of visiting bishops, environment, hospitality, liturgy and reception were simply wonder-full. All the communities were involved and contributed to the vitality of the experience. We exemplified unity and collective energy and leadership in the midst of sacred space and prayer and grace. Thank you to all who participated in person and online. Thank you for the many cards and gifts. Thank you for the opportunity to work with you to build relationships and be the church we dream to be. Much love and peace,

+Kae, 720-232-1562, maddengk@msn.com
Interested in Working on a Regional Web Team?
The Regional Council (Rocky Mountain Regional Council of the ECC) is looking for people who have web design skills and would be interested in being our regional webmaster (or a member of a web team).

We will research user-friendly platforms that would meet our needs, but want input from those who would like to collaborate in this public ministry of the church.

It would also serve as a communications hub - with photos and write-ups about our community celebrations, outreach programs and advocacy opportunities. We can also host a regional events calendar, conversations with Bishop Kae, special announcements and media releases, and an archive of important regional documents.

If interested or know someone who may be, please contact Fr. Michael at nicosia410@yahoo.com.
