REV. KAREN BUSH
Through out the ages the human animal has often lived in stress-filled times. The innate drive of “fight or flight” lays deep in every one of us in our basic nervous system and is a powerful instinct for survival.
Over the past few years for many of us our “fight or flight” has been in over drive with unrelenting anxiety and uncertainty. We find ourselves living too many days feeling flooded, overwhelmed, cut off from others, from ourselves and from our capacity to feel peaceful and in balance.
Join us on Sunday September 26 when our consulting minister, Reverend Karen Bush, will lead us as together we explore the spiritual practice which each the Dalai Lama, Mother Teresa, Mahatma Ghandi and Thich Nhat Hahn name as essential in the quest for inner peace and balance in profoundly unsettling and stress-filled times.

During the month of September 2021, we will support Banks Bridgewater Lewis Fine Arts Academy. BBL enhances the musical knowledge base of young musicians by providing meaningful supplementary curriculum utilizing the genres of Blues, Jazz, Gospel, Rhythm & Blues and Soul in order to participate and contribute successfully to their respective school ensemble. |
