For 25 years, Boys & Girls Club of Elgin has been in the forefront of youth development, working with young people from disadvantaged economic, social and family circumstances. Our mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. We are dedicated to ensuring that our community’s disadvantaged children and teens have greater access to quality programs and services that will enhance their lives and shape their futures.  BGCE has 16 locations and serves nearly 1,000 youth every day and over 6,000 annually.
How does the work you do impact our youngest learners birth to 5 years old?
BGCE serves youth ages 6 to 18 and our goal is to ensure every young person that walks through our doors graduates on time, leads a healthy lifestyle and demonstrates good character regardless of their background.  Membership is only $25 per year so that all youth can afford to belong.
Something you might not know about our agency...
BGCE is the 3 rd largest Club in the state and serves a higher percentage of teens daily than any other Boys & Girls Club in the Midwest. We are expanding serves in 2020 to reach an additional 250 youth per day in South Elgin in a new location!
