IIBA Denver Chapter
Join us for the November meeting in South Denver
Topic: Influence Without Authority

Calendar
Speaker: Grant Warden, CSM, PMI-ACP, IIBA-AAC

It is our pleasure to welcome Grant as our November speaker.

Grant Warden has had an agile career path and a lot of opportunity to influence without having formal authority. He started as a Financial Planner and National Trainer. Then he took a detour and taught English for 3 years in Germany. After returning to the US, Grant began a second career in the mortgage industry, eventually serving as a Business Analyst documenting business operations and requirements.

In 2015, Grant started pursuing Agile methodologies, finding that that its focus on rapid delivery and maximum value resonated with him. Since then, he has been focused on Agile change management and leadership transformation. Grant serves as a full-time ScrumMaster and Agile Coach and he actively participates in the Denver area Agile communities. He has a passion mentoring and collaborating with others.

You can also find Grant in the wide Colorado outdoors for his other passions - road cycling and bagging Colorado 14ers one at a time.

IIBA is a non-profit organization for Business Analyst professionals.  The goal of the local Denver Chapter is to support IIBA by (1) advancing the role of the Business Analyst as a recognized profession, (2) support opportunities for members to network with, and gain knowledge from, seasoned BA practitioners as well as industry and government leaders, (3) provide access for members to a formal "knowledge base" as well as forums for sharing expertise, expressing professional opinions and building a reputation within the industry, (4) provide pathways to learn about business analysis best practices, and (5) obtain and sustain a level of financial security, sustainability, and autonomy at the local level.
