Brady Excels at GCCTM Contest
Congratulations to the Brady Middle School students who earned honors this past week at the Greater Cleveland Council of Teachers of Mathematics (GCCTM) problem-solving contest! Anjali Chepyala, Ben Wei and Branden Wang earned medals for scoring in the top 20%. Halina Michener, Henry Wang, and Kaitlin Alarafi earned Blue Ribbons, and Brian Gent, Swarn Chahal, and Sabrina Fellinger earned Red Ribbons.
Fifth Graders Find Solutions at Invention Convention
More than 30 fifth grade students innovated, designed and created 18 projects as part of the Invention Convention. The projects included: The Bank Box, 5-in-1 Food Tray, Singing Syringe, The E.Z. Clean, The Safe Bag, The Smart Lock, Pots for Life, Reuse-A-Lead, The Fidget Pencil, Cough Gum, Hegyes Helmet, Easy Squeeze, The Omnicompetent Organizer, and The Bill Box, among others. Four projects now move onto the state competition in Columbus. The creators are: Madison Dickson and Daphne Colich for "Easy Green," Isabel Benson and Caroline Jang for "Ocean Sweeper," Hayden Spies for "The Loaded Jig," and Sarah Korland and Alena Ashby for "4 in 1 Rocking Cradle."
