PRESIDENT'S CORNER
Hello Fellow Members,
Welcome to Phase 1 of the reopening process! Moving forward….
According to our County Executive, Cecil County currently has the lowest unemployment in the state and there are a wide variety of available jobs in the county. We should be grateful that we are getting through this easier than some of our neighboring counties.
CCBOR is working towards possibly having a social event towards the end of June if permitted and the Membership committee is steadily working on September's Bull Roast. The Mortgage Finance & Title committee will also be having a FB Live forum coming up the first week in June with a Q & A on what effect Covid-19 is having on the mortgage process & settlements. Stay tuned.
Please be sure to keep up with updated and ever changing information being distributed from CCBOR, MR and NAR websites.
Take Care & Be Well,
Deanna

During this "Safer-at-Home" period, join us in a challenge to maximize your time and at the same time benefit your community. As you may know, the CARE Committee started the C.A.T. Club (Citizens Against Trash) over a year ago in the effort of beautifying our communities by picked up unsightly litter. This is just one CCBOR-organized activity that will be submitted to Maryland REALTORS for the CARE Award.
How can you help? Get outside, get some exercise, and pick up trash around your community and nearby roads. Simply take a picture and/or video, track how much time you have spent picking up litter, and submit to

Homesnap Pro is Introducing 'Coming Soon' Ads
.
As the real estate market has slowed in the wake of COVID-19 and social distancing has made open houses and in-person visits difficult, many would-be buyers and sellers have postponed—but not canceled—their plans to enter the market.
Coming Soon Ads are an effective way to give your soon-to-hit-the-market listings broader exposure and generate increased interest among these on-hold buyers. When the market eases back to normalcy, and you’re ready to make your listing active, you’ll have a waiting list of interested parties already eager to transact. Learn more
