AmeriCorps VISTA Helps Strengthen Community Trust

The West Virginia Public Defender Service Corporation (PDSC) and our AmeriCorps VISTA members, Shantih and Cara, recently collaborated to strengthen community trust and involvement to improve client services and recruit future staff, but their website remained difficult to navigate with little useful information. Shantih and Cara revamped the website with several pertinent resources. Now, clients can easily find the information they need and advocates can learn about valuable work of PDSC's office culture. The increased visibility online is building up holistic defense for West Virginians. Click here to learn more about the AmeriCorps VISTA program!
