MMES is an A+ School of Excellence ™!

On April 10, MMES held a special assembly where the Falcon flew in and delivered exciting news: MMES was selected as an A+ School of Excellence™ by the Arizona Educational Foundation!

We celebrated with champion songs and cheers led by teacher cheerleaders.

Staff presented principal, Valerie Dehombreux with flowers to thank her for working with them and writing the application for the past two years.

MMES will celebrate again on May 6 at 1:00 p.m. when the Arizona Educational Foundation will present us with our official banner at an assembly in the multipurpose room. After that we will go to the field for a drone photo of staff, students, and parents in an A+ shape!  It is absolutely essential that everyone MUST WEAR BLUE! We will send home a newsletter with an RSVP form so that we know ahead of time who is coming and can plan the structure of the A+.

To find about more about the award and see MMES among the list of the 52 awarded schools for 2019, please visit  www.azedfoundation.org/a-schools .
