Welcome... to the latest issue of Beyond the Bricks!
Dear Christian Friends,
Last Sunday was Commitment Sunday, and many of us turned in our pledge cards to indicate what we plan to give financially to First Christian Church in 2020. Our giving is one indication of our faithfulness as stewards of what God has entrusted to us.
Also indicative of our faithfulness as stewards is the giving of our time and talents. God encourages us to give these just as much as God encourages us to give our financial resources.
If you're looking for ways to be involved in our community, then this issue of Beyond the Bricks is for you. Many opportunities exist for using your time and talents to share God's love with others. Take some time to look over this issue and see if you're drawn to any of these opportunities. You can make a difference by using your time and talents for others.
I pray that God will find us to be faithful stewards in all things: time, talent, and treasure.
Peace to you,
