Parish News

Tom, Rebecca, Max (14), Alex (11), Anya (9) and Zach (9) Mindy
Alex is in 6th grade and Anya & Zach are in 4th grade. Max graduated from SMV in 2020 and is a Freshman at Marquette High. Rebecca is also a proud SMV alum. We live in Elm Grove.
Our family likes to spend time up north and playing/watching flag football, volleyball and basketball. Go Gladiators!!
We have enjoyed volunteering at SMV in many ways over the years, like coordinating t-ball, coaching Track, recruiting H&S volunteers, helping with H&S events, and working on various school and parish committees.
Our family loves SMV because the wonderful community is so committed to the school and to our students. We feel confident that our kids are getting a Catholic education that will prepare them well for their future.

                      Effective 2016-2021
Beginning next Friday, Jan. 17, St. Mary's Visitation Respect Life Ministry is holding a Collection of Baby Items for Women's Care Center Milwaukee.
WCC has seen an increased need for emergency baby supplies such as diapers and wipes, clothing and other baby items.  Donations can be dropped off in the northwest corner of the parish atrium through Jan. 31.
Women's Care Center helps pregnant women from our communities choose life for their babies, have healthier pregnancies, become better parents and take first steps to self-sufficiency. With two locations in Milwaukee, Women's Care Center serves over 2,000 women each year, many of whom are seriously considering abortion. Through WCC's non-judgmental counseling approach, free state-of-the-art ultrasounds, and parenting education classes, 92% of moms choose life for their baby!
With the COVID pandemic, more women are facing economic hardship and stress. Now more than ever, WCC's mission to bring hope and support to women facing unplanned pregnancies is absolutely essential.
