OUR NEWEST U.S. CITIZEN
Congratulations Vincente Villanueva!

Vincente was one of our 53 outstanding Citizenship Class students who studied and worked hard to become U.S. citizens this year.

Hope for a brighter and exciting future is now possible for all of our new citizens and their families.

Our Citizenship Classes have prepared hundreds of adults to take and pass the U.S. citizenship exam.
LET THE BAKING BEGIN!
Did you say cupcakes?

Teens competed against their fellow teens in an epic and fun Cupcake Battle. A red velvet cupcake was declared our winner. It was created by Ashley Monroy, Fatima Diallo, Merari Ramirez, and Valeryn Deras and represented the special occasion, "Graduation". The group used Oreo cookies, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, and Hershey Chocolate bars to create graduation caps on top of the blue frosting, which represented the Port Chester High School colors. And, by the way, it was delicious, too!
TEEN TALK PODCAST
Our Teens have a lot to say

Carver Teens are creating their own podcast designed to provide insight into how the teens of Generation Z feel, think, and view/interpret society and the world around them.

Teens are participating in the various stages of production: creating questions, formatting, recording, and editing.

The goal is to share the podcast with adults in their lives to help them develop and understanding and deepened perspective of an often "misunderstood" generation.

CARVER AQUATICS
Full steam ahead with our Group Lessons

OUR CARVER MARKET DELIVERS
Feeding our Community every Monday, Wednesday & Friday

Our Carver Market distributed healthy and nutritious food to 1,191 children, 1,443 adults, and 543 seniors at our weekly distributions in September.

Between the months of January through September 2021, we have served 10,834 households.

WHAT'S BETTER THAN A WARM BLANKET?
Thanks to PROJECT LINUS for your special delivery

Project Linus is an organization that provides handmade, new blankets to children and families in need. Thanks to the local Westchester chapter for delivering 70 blankets to Carver Center. This special donation will be lovingly used by our Port Chester children. Project Linus is always looking for donations of new yarn and fabric. THANK YOU FOR HELPING TO SAVE LIVES!

Carver Center hosted a very successful blood drive in September. 29 units of blood were collected and 87 LIVES WERE POTENTIALLY IMPACTED. Carver hopes to schedule more drives in the near future.
