Hires Heroes USA
Speaker: Sandy Kaider, Manager, Referral & Training Partners

Hire Heroes USA is a nonprofit Veteran Service Organization whose mission is to empower transitioning military, veterans, and military spouses to be successful in finding employment in the civilian sector through personalized service and support. The Referral & Training Partners Program exists to support and extend the mission by partnering with organizations who provide the resources and/or training that are peripheral to the client's job search but directly affect it. 
Defense Health Agency

Brenda Campbell, LICSW
MAJ Mary Markivich, PsyD

Defense Health Agency will join us to discuss the Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE) and Clinical Support Tools available for Military Treatment Facilities. They will also feature speakers from Real Warriors Campaign and InTransition.

Ms. Campbell is a contracted licensed independent clinical social worker on the evidence-based practice team at the Psychological Health Center of Excellence (PHCoE). She has a master’s degree in social work and has been working with service members, veterans, and their families for nearly a decade. Prior to joining PHCoE she worked for Military OneSource doing clinical training and supervision. In addition, she has done outreach for non-profit organizations who provide mental health services to service members, veterans and military families and caregivers. She received her masters degree from University of Maryland at Baltimore
 
MAJ Markivich is an AD Army MAJ and clinical psychologist with 12 years time in service and she is attached to Defense Health Agency and assigned to the Psychological Health Center of Excellence. She is originally from West Virginia and completed her graduate studies at Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. MAJ Markivich have served primarily in clinical care positions, but has also served as Deputy Director of Training for interns and residents and as Deputy Chief of a department of behavioral health. MAJ Markivich has had two deployments to Iraq.
