The  San Francisco Interfaith Council hosted an April 2, 2020 online COVID-19 (Coronavirus) briefing for faith leaders.  The briefing began with remarks from San Francisco Mayor London Breed, followed by a presentation by  Department of Public Health Deputy Health Officer Dr. Curtis Chan. Dr Chan reported on the impact of the pandemic as well as response policies and precautions instituted by the City.  Representatives of four religious institutions reported on the response efforts of their organizations and posed questions to the presenter.  This pilot briefing was the l aunch of a series of virtual conversations intended to impart timely and critical information and resources to religious leaders and their communities of faith.
