TBC's Blessing of the Pets
Sunday, November 17
at 11:00 am
At 11:00 am on November 17th, all are invited to bring their beloved animals and join us at Temple B'nai Chaim for TBC's Blessing of the Pets!
As we gather in the courtyard, Rabbi Bearman and Student Cantor Hamstra will lead a brief ceremony where we celebrate the love, laughter, and companionship that our pets bring to our lives. We will also offer a prayer of mourning for anyone who is remembering a beloved pet. All animals are welcome but should be either leashed or secured in travel cages.
Photographer and TBC congregant Jon Gordon will be on hand to
take photos of your pet and family. Pet portraits will be $75 each (unframed) to raise funds for TBC's religious school. Photos will be ready for Hanukkah and make a great gift!

Netflix and Nosh: The Kominsky Method
November 17th at 5:00 pm
Come join the TBC crowd at the home of Jeff Spector (1215 Foxboro Drive, Norwalk) for another round of this hit series, starring Michael Douglas and Alan Arkin. We will start with a light supper followed by a screening of the first episode of the show and finally dessert and a lively discussion.
Why do men have such problems communicating about real life experiences? This is a delightful, informative and humorous look at the issue. "He may be in his twilight years, but aging acting coach Sandy Kominsky isn't ready to ride off into the sunset just yet. The once-famous Kominsky and his longtime agent, Norman Newlander, keep each other laughing as they tackle the curveballs that life throws at them while navigating their later years in Los Angeles, a city that values youth and beauty."

Temple B'nai Chaim Congregational Meeting

At Temple B'nai Chaim, there are two Congregational meetings each year,
held in November and May. This is your opportunity to hear what's going on, ask questions and get to know one another.
Please come participate in our community! A quorum of member families is required to conduct TBC business.

Middle Schoolers (Grades 6-8) and Parents
ADL Workshop at TBC
Sunday, November 24 at 9:30-11:30 am
With anti-Semitic incidents on the rise, it is increasingly important for young people and adults to know how to respond if they were to encounter a bias incident. On Sunday, November 24th from 9:30-11:30 am, the ADL will conduct a workshop at TBC for middle schooler's (grades 6-8) and their parents. The Words to Action workshop will take place during religious school for 6-7th graders (and parents). Eighth graders and their parents are also encouraged to attend. Interfaith Thanksgiving Service: A Night of Giving Thanks!

On November 25, people of all faiths and all backgrounds will gather together to offer gratitude for friendship and all the blessings in our lives.
Everyone- both in our congregation and in the larger community- is invited to this special experience!
Get ready for Thanksgiving by starting the week with thankfulness!
Plus: LIFT UP YOUR VOICE!
Everyone who is interested is invited to join our choir for the Thanksgiving Service.
Rehearsal will take place at TBC at 5:45 pm on November 25.
