“Having conversations focused on mental health and wellness are a great tool for changing perceptions and reducing stigma in our communities. At the Table Colorado provided an opportunity for us to check in with our Innovators on how they are accelerating solutions to mental health.”

Greetings!

The 2018, At the Table Colorado report, by the University of Colorado Denver, School of Public Affairs , listed mental health as one of the top concerns for Coloradans. So, it comes as no surprise that ATTC’s 2019 conversations are overwhelmingly focused on mental and behavioral health. From the Innovators Society 1.0 and 2.0 discussion, hosted by Community First Foundation , to Mile High United Way’s statewide conversation on child welfare, to the What’s on Your Mind? public dialogue at Coffee at the Point in Denver (see below for details) Colorado is coming together to change the way we listen and share our thoughts on the most pressing health issue of our time.

So the question is:
will your voice be heard At the Table?
What’s on Your Mind? are public conversations hosted by At the Table Colorado , in coffee shops throughout the state, where YOU choose the topic. ATTC is excited to be partnering with Coffee on the Point for a series of grassroots conversations on Mental Wellness.

Our first What’s on Your Mind? , Destigmatizing Conversations around Mental Health , was May 20 th Despite a heavy spring snowstorm along the front range, we had a very poignant discussion that included people currently in treatment as well as family members. Lindsey Earl, ATTC Volunteer Staff member, did a wonderful job of facilitating the event; read Lindsey’s bio and blog here.

Our series continues with Mental Health: Separating Facts from Fiction , on Monday, June 17 th , details below. Please join us to shine light on this issue, which touches all of us… because YOUR VOICE MATTERS COLORADO!
