Library Take Out
Library Take Out has begun! It has been great to hear from everyone who has called or emailed, we have missed you!

How does Library Take Out work?
Place a hold online, call, or email to request something specific or ask our staff to put together a bundle of items for you based on an author you enjoyed, a subject you like, or what genre you are in the mood to read or watch.

Once your items are ready, we will call you to make an appointment for a pick up time.  Appointments are mandatory . At this time only items that are on our shelves will be available for pick up.

Your items will be checked out to your account and put into a paper bag that will be labelled with your name on it. Your bag will be on a table in the small lobby where the bulletin board is located. If you arrive and someone else is picking up their items, please stay in your car until they have picked up their bag and gotten back to their car. Please wear a mask when you are picking up your items.

What about returns?
Returns will only be accepted while staff is in the building. Returns must be made in the outside book drop. The book drop will remain locked when we are not open. Returned items will be quarantined for 7 days before being handled by staff and checked in. NO OVERDUE FINES will be charged at this time. All items have due dates of July 9th to ensure patrons are able to bring things back without penalty. This will also allow you to bring things back in several trips instead of all at once.

What will library hours be?
During phase one of our re-opening plan hours will be limited.

Monday – Friday: 10am – 2pm
Saturdays: 10am – 1:30pm
Free Printing
During the month of June patrons will be able to print up to 20 black and white pages for free as a one time courtesy.

To print:
or use the Printeron mobile printing app available for iOS, Android and other devices.

Email the library to let us know you sent a document and we can schedule you for a pickup.

Virtual Travel Talk: Vietnam
Thursday, June 11th, 6:30pm
No registration is required.

Gary Sousa is a history teacher at Tabor Academy and traveled to Vietnam on a study tour with a number of other educators. His six-week trip began in Hanoi and Sapa on the Chinese border and continued south along the coast including Halong Bay, Hue, Hoi An, Nha Trang, Ho Chi Minh City, and the Mekong Delta before flying into Siem Reap, Cambodia and Angkor Wat.

Along the way, he took cooking classes, went scuba diving, , crawled the tunnels of Cu Chi, learned how to cross the street, ate fried tarantula, and slept on the floor of an overnight bus. While elements of his talk will touch upon Vietnam's ancient origins, his primary focus will begin with Vietnam's colonial history and extend through the American War into its modern day emergence onto the international stage.

This program is in conjunction with our Community Read program of reading The Mountains Sing by Nguyễn Phan Quế Mai.
